Société De Bourbon Tay Ninh (SBT: HOSTC)
Societe De Bourbon Tay Ninh is a Vietnam-based company engaged in the food processing industry. The Company manufactures and trades refined sugar, molasses and other derivative products, as well as manages sugarcane plantation and provides technical services to other sugar manufacturers. It is also involved in thermal electricity generation from coal or sugarcane bagasse, along with the manufacturing of fertilizers and other agricultural supplies. In addition, the Company invests in the development of a commercial complex. During the year ended December 31, 2009, 90.88% of its net revenue came from sale of refined sugar. As of December 31, 2009, the Company was a subsidiary of Groupe Bourbon, and it had one affiliated center engaged in sugarcane research and one affiliated company.
